Pentagon report says social fabric of states is fraying, which precurses civilizational collapse

in #news7 years ago

In a recent report by Nafeez Ahmed, one of my favourite investigative journalists, it was pointed out that the US Army War College issued a report here that says :

the U.S.-backed international order established after World War 2 is “fraying” and may even be “collapsing”, leading the United States to lose its position of “primacy” in world affairs.
“[A]ll states and traditional political authority structures are under increasing pressure from endogenous and exogenous forces… The fracturing of the post-Cold War global system is accompanied by the internal fraying in the political, social, and economic fabric of practically all states.”

In an earlier article, Are Global Riots on the Horizon?, I noted that decentralization vs centralization have been creating angst amongst the haves and have-nots. Now that I see the US Army viewing it as a global threat to their empire, and their plans to use subterfuge to maintain the status quo, I'm beginning to think we may have a real problem on our hands in the near future.Throw in the Army's mention of additional problems like global warming, fake news, propaganda, mass surveillance, and psychological warfare... and it seems there's more evidence of a collapse unfolding than what I noticed and it's much bigger than technological unemployment or bitcoin.

I'm trying to educate people and help whomever I can to prepare themselves. I wrote a few articles you might want to check out here:

  1. Which businesses to avoid
  2. How to prep your computers for cyberattacks
  3. How to mitigate climate change
  4. How to survive technological unemployment
  5. How to make an ATV: these come in handy, especially if you go off-grid and produce your own electricity

If you have any good articles let me know, I'd be happy to read and learn more.

There will be a correction soon and your article backs up that assertion

That story is from 2014. I think stock markets and big companies are becoming obsolete due to block-chain technology like aragon.one, based on ethereum smart-contracts. I'm dumping all my traditional stocks and investing in tangible goods like wind and solar, robots, AI, electric vehicles, 3D printers, makerspaces, etc. When you look at a company like Ford, you see they are planning to make autonomous vehicles in 2021. Meanwhile, Google's autonomous vehicles are already on the road. Ford also expects to sell non-autonomous trucks for $50k+, but to whom? A handful of wealthy Americans? So now they plan to make people lease a shitty ford through a ride-share program. I saw someone pay $40k for a new truck and then a few years later it was worth $12k, for a loss of $28k to drive 40,000 miles. Stuff like that spells the end of big companies

Check knightscope - you might like it...it was on seedinvest before not sure where to buy now... they are replacing night guards with robots and have existing contracts with Microsoft I think...

Most big corps that backup automation are doing it for increasing profits and dont care about ppl....
