Guess Who Might Start A Bitcoin Exchange? The New York Stock Exchange
This is a rumour is coming from the New York Times. Apparently the parent company of the New York stock exchange wants to open trading for large amounts of Bitcoin. This is another player looking to get into the crypto world. And a very big one with that. It is not open yet but it could be another push for the coin.
The opening of exchanges on this kind of scale would be the step that entered bitcoin and crypto into the mainstream. And it makes sense that these exchanges offer bitcoin, look at all the money the crypto exchanges are making. Not to mention the amount they will be making if the value of bitcoin goes as high as some people think it will.
I will keep an eye on this to see where it leads but it is good news for crypto.
