Canada: Liberal party considers decriminalization of all illicit drugs

As the Canadian Government moves to legalize marijuana and address the opiod crisis sweeping Canada, radical ideas are on the table including potentially decriminalizing all illicit drugs.

When looking for answers to the drug war, they refer to countries like Portugal which decriminalized all drugs back in 2001. While deaths, HIV, and drug related crimes declined, It’s not 100% certain that it was due to the new policy.
