Republicans Now More Progressive On Marijuana Than Democrats

in #news7 years ago

John Boehner has “evolved” on his attitude towards marijuana. Republicans are now supporting evolution in Federal legislation.

Welp, looks like the Republican capitalist faction seems to slowly convert its stance of drug-usage to be positive. But merely that the fact that they are becoming to understand the fact that the Drug War has been a miserable failure and their fantastic image of the Drug War being a net positive is crumbling. To recover from the fall of sanity, they choose to start a change of heart for the Republican party for drug users. However, the overall fantasy that plagues both major factions is the profitability aspect of anything if they choose to support it; and that profitability aspect, since the start of Capitalism, will show heavily for pro-drug states, regardless of the factions, when drugs starts becoming more and more legalized. Yet, I'm willing to wait to see how long they're willing to fight for this before they concede to the old elements, lest that Republican departure of thirty representatives really is a game changer of the day-after and allowed for these smaller factions to take power.

I wish DTube wasn't so dang slow. Can't get the video to play. :(

The video keeps freezing.

In Canada marijuana is getting legalized. Maybe the same can happen in the U.S though someone like John Boehner is only supporting marijuana legalization because John can make a profit from legal marijuana.

In recent times the Democratic establishment has moved significantly to the right and surpassed some Republicans in the process. This does not bode well for the country and the vast majority of its people.

Even with the number of Republicans not standing at the mid terms, giving the Dems a chance to win back control of the Senate or even the House, the future looks bleak indeed.
