NASA warns of the approach of several asteroids to Earth this week
According to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, located in Pasadena, several asteroids will approach Earth this week.
The largest of these celestial bodies will pass about 5.09 million kilometers from the planet, about 13 times the distance at which the Moon is.
With a diameter of between 250 and 570 meters, this Aten-class asteroid would approach Earth this coming Saturday, June 6.
Five other small celestial bodies, about 20 meters in diameter, will approach this June 2. The 2020 KK7 is the one that will come closest, up to 513,120 kilometers.
