Arsenal Legend Admires Liverpool Star's Dribbling Skills, Says He Looks Like Lionel Messi

Arsenal legend, Freddie Ljungberg, admitted that he was impressed by Liverpool star Harvey Elliott's dribbling ability.

Elliott was the differentiator in Liverpool's narrow 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in Week 16 of the Premier League.

His goal in the 90+1 minute was the decisive winner for the Reds following goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta (57') and Mohamed Salah (76').

This goal proved that coach Juergen Klopp did not make a mistake in entering it in the 74th minute.

Elliott also contributed to the red card Jordan Ayew received a minute after he entered the field.

Ayew received his second yellow card after bringing down Elliott who was dribbling the ball in a counter-attack situation.
It is not surprising that the 19 year old player received sky-high praise from Arsenal legend, Freddie Ljungberg.

The man from Sweden admitted that he was impressed with Elliott's ability to dribble the ball and confuse opponents.

In fact, the 46 year old man does not hesitate to compare Elliott to Lionel Messi.

"He has very good feet," said Ljungberg, as quoted by SuperBall.id from Viaplay.se.

"It's almost Messi-like with his inside-out movement, and that makes Elliott very good technically at dribbling and how he confuses his opponents," he added.
