Steemians, Do You Think Donald Trump Will Be Reelected?

in #news7 years ago

In this Majority Report clip, Michael Shure joins the show to discuss a recent visit to the Florida panhandle where he found many, MANY Donald Trump supporters. We also consider whether or not these voters will stick by Donald Trump, regardless of his policies or what transpires during his presidency. And after talking with Michael...they just might stick with the Donald.

Sort:

Yes , of course.

When I zoom out and look at the overall scenario , nothing much has changed at macro level.

One side is horrible and mean ( GOP) and other side is weak ( Dems) and unwilling to make any real change !!

#Trump2020

Really tell that to all the people that are being effected by all the executive orders he has signed.

@politirap yes , that goes to my point of GOP being horrible...

@politirap
Who do you think Dems are going to put up against the orange monster ?

Corey?
Kamala Harris?
or
Biden ?

All 3 will loose since none of them stand for any real change .

Depends on who the Dems elect during the primaries. Someone like Tulsi Gabbard could probably beat Trump.

Even the thought of that possibility makes me throw-up in my mouth a little bit! Stop it! LOL!

If he survives his first term, which he probably will, he will win re-election.

Sad to say but you are probably right. Dems are already showing that they are willing to put their corporate interests over the good of the party and shun the progressives that CAN win against Republicans. They'll rig it again and probably run Cory Booker, (Another Hated politician, as was Hillary), and Trump WILL win again.

Let's hope not. No one in USA that makes less than 120K a year has seen anything good happen for them. Democracy is suppose to be by the people of the people for the people. Donald Trump has highlighted that USA hasn't had that form of democracy in decades now.

"IF" Trump survives without being impeached then "YES" he will win a second term. The ONLY way that he does not win a second term is if he is running against a true Progressive, which I don't think the Corporate Democrats will let happen. They are hell bent on keeping Corporate Democrats in charge of the Democratic party, even if that means losing to Donald Trump. They will do everything possible from letting a Progressive win the top position of their party.
Donald Trump WINS over Corey Booker in 2020

Depends on whom the Democrats will run in 2020. If they run someone like Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard or Nina Turner caring about the issues most people care about, issues like universal healthcare, tuition free college, re-regulation of wall street, a more peaceful foreign policy not threatening nuclear war, etc. then they will probably win against Trump.

If they run someone like Hillary, Oprah or this Joe Kennedy who held the official Dem-response to Trump's State of the Union then they will lose again because these people are not caring about these issues and also stand for a warmongering foreign policy (atleast we know that from Hillary and Oprah, but I'm not sure if this Joe Kennedy also falls into the neocon warmonger-category). Unfortunately it currently looks like the Dems will really run someone from this category again. At least the corporate Dems want to do that.

I think the only hopes to avoid a 2nd term of president Trump are either grassroots-groups like Justicedems successfully taking over the Democrats or a successful 3rd party running against the Dems and the GOP.
