Bad news for Pakistan's bad news
There is a chance ahead of Pakistan to stabilize their place. Pakistan will strengthen Australia by a gap of 3 matches against West Indies in Karachi from April 1 to 3 On the other hand, if Pakistan wins, it is almost impossible for India to be at the top of the T20 ranking for the time being. They also have no T20 series very close to them.
If the Sarfaraz army of the series won 3-0, then by 4 points Pakistan's points would stand at 130. The difference between the two numbers remaining behind the fraction will be increased. Then West Indies will go to the 5th position with 115 points.
If Pakistan win the series 2-1, then there will be no change in the position. On the other hand, if the Caribbean win 2-1, then Pakistan will move to No. 2 with just 123 points from just two points ahead of India.
On the other hand, if the hosts lose 3-0, then the rankings will go to number two in the rankings with 122 points and the West Indies will retain India's position with 120 points after just next. In other words, Pakistan will be ranked number one in the series in the series. So Indians will want to defeat Pakistan in this series of unspeakable series.
The West Indies are touring Pakistan without the team's best T-20 player Gayle Holder. They are not ready to play in Pakistan because of security concerns.
West Indies squad: Jason Mohammed (captain), Samuel Badree, Rayad Amreit, Andre Fletcher, Andre McCarthy, Kemo Paul, VeraSammy Permaul, Ravannah Powell, Dinesh Ramdin, Marlon Samuels, Odense Smith, Chadwick Walton and Kirsty Williams
