RipaEx project Newsletter 10/14/2018: XPX listing, unsold tokens, ticker change

Keeping on growing RipaEx has reached 500+ registered delegates, 11,500+ Telegram users, 8,000+ Twitter users and 600+ Slack users: thanking you for all the effort in setting up your delegate, with this message, I will notify you that, as the network is secured, the welcome bonus has been lowered to ₱100 for first delegate, ₱50 for second delegate, ₱100 for Twitter-Facebook following, that bonuses will be in place until we have reached 800–1,000 delegates/rely nodes on the network to offer to its users a reliable network of transfer of value to work with and will be re-targeted accordingly.

1. XPX Listing

The XPX currency will be listed in the following two exchanges starting from Monday 29th October 2018:

Graviex https://graviex.net/
Altilly https://www.altilly.com/

The choice for those two exchanges has been done as we value small ecosystem growth and we like to support the exchanges platforms that we consider secure, efficient and innovative.

2. Unsold Tokens

The tokens not exchanged during the RipaEx Pre-Sale and RIPA TEC phases will be distributed as follow:

₱30,000,000 locked and used to finance the Ripa Exchange development during the ROUND TWO financing that will start in January 2019
₱20,000,000 burnt to support price stability of the XPX currency to be burnt in batches of ₱1M - ₱5M each
₱20,000,000 locked for the time being to make sure the Ripa network will not go in the hands of unknown people that may not agree with the RipaEx vision

3. Ticker Change

As you may be aware the ProximaX project uses the same XPX ticker RipaEx uses, while keeping peaceful business interaction with the ProximaX project this ticker duplication will need to be addressed some place in the future.
Arguments to discuss here are:

XPX (RipaEx) genesis block date is 03/21 while XPX (ProximaX) genesis block date is 07/20
XPX (RipaEx) Bitcointalk ANN thread creation date is 05/05 while XPX (ProximaX) Bitcointalk ANN thread creation date is 04/16
XPX (RipaEx) colleciton is €55,000 so far, XPX (ProximaX) collection is $30,000,000 (if you believe who collected more money is an argument)

As soon as the ProximaX will talk on those arguments or problems will arise for the XPX ticker duplication (Ex: listing on the same cryptocurrency exchange) the team at RipaEx will be happy to discuss a solution, until then we will keep following our path which is deploy technology of high level, offer services and connect exchanges.

4. RIPA TEC

RIPA TEC will close on 11/16/2018 if the two integrations with Graviex and Altilly are working smoothly (see point (1)).

7.1. Ripa Exchange Development

As you may know software development is composed by five phases:

Functional analysis: how it works
Technical analysis: how it works in details
Implementation
Testing
Feedback and go back to (1)

for the Ripa Exchange software at the moment we have done (1): funds collected during the RipaEx ICO will be used for the others steps of the development of Ripa Exchange.

Functional Analysis for Ripa Exchange is as follow:

CRYPTO <-> CRYPTO exchange
25 currencies from POW, DPOS, MasterNodes, ERC20 (if is in reach)
Possibility to add WebWallets deposit/withdraws (OKPay, PayPall, NETELLET, others…)
Log in via Facebook, Twitter, Goolge+, (is really needed??)
FIDO Alliance security standards
Separation between user registry, trading UI, trading engine, deposit/whitdraw engine

Where to put the dev environment:

Google Cloud Platform
ScaleWay
Amazon
Azure
Digital Ocean

Jenkins continuous integration tool, JIRA for task management, Wiki and development server will be in place by the end of July contribution to this development will be with €2,000 monthly for change requests, developing new features, bugfixing and others…

7.2. Ripa Blockchain Development

At the moment we are searching to port:

libraries to interact with the Ripa Blockcian in various languages: .NET, Java, python, go, erlang, elixir, others languages…

A contribution of €500 / month will be in place for this porting: contact us to do that development.

Ripa Blockchain repositories have still a lot of ARK source base: while we will always trust ARK as our blockchain technology provider we will also port the latest features and refactory them to Ripa.
