Estonian minister resigned for riding with 0.28 promiles
The Minister of State Administration in Estonia, Yaaak Aab, announced at a special press conference that he resigned after the police caught him driving with 0.28 pounds of alcohol in his blood. The high-ranking politician was suspended by law enforcement because he was driving a speeding of 73 km / h at a limit of 50. Aab says he "very deeply regrets" his mistake and has "learned the lesson." The minister added that the use of alcohol at the wheel is "completely irresponsible". 0.2 promile is the lower limit of the permissible blood alcohol content for most EU countries, incl. and Estonia. In countries such as the UK and Malta, "legal" promises are four times more - 0.8 and Bulgaria - 0.5.
