I understand that broadcasting and promoting non consensual porn is a big issue. As the fact that children may have access to inapropriate content.
However is the solution wished by the government very effective?
Isn't it the solution to enforced the underground market by putting thousand of person in illegal situation?
Then, how do you put the limit between moral and immoral ? It can be very subjective matters and even though some topics are scandalous for everyone, others are matter of discussion. Isn't it the first step to moralise and control sexual freedom.
Finally, controll identity, keeping private informations? Seriously, this is the most frightening point of this law when we know everything that could be made when the right information falls into the wrong hands.
As you said, 1984 seems to loose it's warning purpose by becoming a scheme governments are trying to follow....
