The Moose are Starving to Death in Parts of Alaska

1 of the 3 Moose that Died within the Last Week on Our Property

From Big Lake Alaska up North to Talkeetna there have been many reports of moose starving and dying on peoples porches, yards, and properties. We alone on our property here in Willow, have had 3 moose die and looks possibly more. The large snowfall is what the Alaska Fish & Game and Alaska Wildlife Troopers are attributing the deaths to.

These moose can not be salvaged for meat, neither human consumption or pet consumption. There has been talk from the locals that there could be a disease going around, I have heard everything from chronic wasting disease to covid-19 itself. There are also many locals that confirm the deep snow theory, so for now I will go with that and not worry.
