I don't thing this part is true...
The company respects the laws that apply in the field of crypto-currencies, including US securities laws.
@poloniex took it upon themselves to just keep a deposit and never credit my account with Steem months ago. At the time, it was $16k (pretty law breaker like if you ask me).
