Gerindra Party plans to declare Prabowo Subianto as Presidential Candidate (Capres) in 2019 Presidential Election in April.

Gerindra Party Vice Chairman Fadli Zon said the party's internal party had decided to declare Prabowo as the 2019 presidential candidate. "At the latest this April, Gerindra will soon declare Pak Prabowo as the Presidential Candidate," Fadli Zon said on Monday (19/3/2018) .

Fadli Zon also claimed, the decision to declare Prabowo as a Presidential Candidate in 2019 has not received official approval from Prabowo himself as a candidate who carried. However, internally the party has received support from all cadres.

"I think almost all of our administrators, as well as internally although there has not been an official meeting but in Rakornas will be announced in April," he admitted.
