Fright in Russia: the depraved "horror doll house" could return to the home where everything happened

In 2011, the authorities of the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod experienced an increase in vandalism in cemeteries. Every week new tombs were destroyed, some looted, with no apparent connection to each other.

The authorities estimated that he would be responsible for the looting of some 150 graves, from which he found pieces and plates in his home. They also found there instructions to make the "dolls", maps of the cemeteries of the region and photographs and videos of the open tombs and bodies unearthed.

In the courts, Moskvin argued that he felt very sorry for the dead children and believed that they could be brought back to life through science and black magic. The professor explained that he put their bodies inside the dolls to give them a more attractive appearance than their weakened bodies when he got the way to return them to life.

In addition, he maintained that he always wanted to have children and could not, denied any sexual attraction for the "dolls" and, on the contrary, explained that he treated them like his daughters, he sang songs to them, watched them with cartoons and even celebrated their birthdays . As any girl would do with her doll.

Before the Court, Moskvin admitted to having kidnapped 44 bodies of Netre girls 3 and 12 years old. The forensic doctors diagnosed him with schizophrenia, so the Justice declared him inimputable and sent him to a psychiatric clinic.

However, before the trial ended, he left a chilling message for the parents of his victims: "You abandoned your girls in the cold, I took them to my house and gave them shelter."

Now, the ghost returns to these parents because the psychiatrists who treat him have recommended to Justice that he be allowed to leave the hospital where he is and to continue his treatment at home. Yes, the same place where he had his "house of dolls of terror".

That man deserves life imprisonment and strict medical control without freedom of movement, "he insisted.

This week, the Court must decide on the recommendation of the psychiatric team, but it is more likely that it will accept it, as is often the case, say the experts. "I'm scared for my son," Natalia says, "I'm still taking him to school with a strong hand."
