Linkin Park's lead singer found dead
One of the band's lead vocalists died on Thursday (20). According to the TMZ website, Chester Bennington was found dead this morning at his home in the city of Los Angeles, United States.
The musician, 41, had been battling alcohol and drug addiction for years. The American press says he committed suicide by hanging, but the information was not confirmed by the police.
In interviews, the musician had already said that he thought about suicide and that he had been abused as a child.
In May, Bennington suffered a heavy blow with the death of one of his closest friends, Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave. According to the doctors, Cornell also committed suicide by hanging.
Bennington leaves the wife and six children.
