(CBSLA) – LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – According to several media accounts, rapper Kodak Black was one of four persons wounded or injured Saturday at an afterparty following a Justin Bieber performance in Beverly Grove.

"That's actually pretty weird," homeowner John Juricek said. "This isn't recognized as a wild region."
Sources connected with the incident told multiple news sites, including TMZ, that the 24-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was one of the casualties. The Los Angeles Police Department declined to comment on the allegations.

All of the victims, according to the LAPD, are in stable condition.

Tourist Alfred Willis stated, "It puts you more on watch." "It encourages you to put things away and to take a closer look at your surroundings."

According to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North La Cienega Boulevard, between Beverly Boulevard and Melrose Avenue, around 2:45 a.m.

Madison added, "They (witnesses) heard a fight outside, then many bullets were fired."

The afterparty was said to have taken place at The Nice Guy restaurant near the Pacific Design Center, where Bieber had played a concert in front of Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Tobey Maguire, Kendall Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian.

Madison said a 19-year-old male, a 20-year-old man, a 60-year-old man, and a man believed to be Black — who fled the scene — were all wounded.

Two victims were sent to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to the LAPD, and investigators located two more victims who self-transported to nearby hospitals.

Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed this version, saying police phoned his department at 2:49 a.m. to report the gunshot.

According to Humphrey, the guy now identified as Black may have contacted authorities around 3:16 a.m. from the 10300 block of Wilshire Boulevard, near Comstock Avenue, to report that he had been shot or wounded.

He was taken to the hospital by paramedics with unidentified injuries.

Tourist Briana, who only revealed her first name, remarked, "It's incredibly sad and terrifying." "We're staying close by, and we're glad that we're okay, and we're hoping that everyone involved is okay as well."

There were no arrests or leads on suspects.

Former President Donald J. Trump pardoned Kapri in 2021 after he was sentenced to jail for weapons possession in 2019.
