FOX News: Bitcoin could reach $ 1 Billion
Bitcoin has been prominent in traditional media. Now it's FOX News's turn to put the issue on the table, suggesting that the price of the digital currency could reach up to $ 1 billion.
The price of bitcoin was tabulated in a program titled "Making Money" which aired on June 30. The program is presented by anchor Charles Payne, who said that the price of the cryptomeo could reach the level of $ 1 million in the coming years.
Until the beginning of 2017 Bitcoin regularly received derogatory criticism from journalists and specialists. Following this action, FOX News joins networks that are eyeing the crypto coins, such as CNBC that recently released an interview with Jeremy Liew, pioneer investor of Snapchat.
With bitcoin circling close to $ 2,500, speculating on the price of the currency within five or ten years, it has become the new favorite sport of the finance media, which seeks to stimulate its investors.
"The reason Bitcoin is a financial revolution is because it's decentralized," said Naomi Brockwell, a former policy director at the New York Bitcoin Center.
At the end of the program, the $ 1 million price forecast however, turned out to be $ 1 billion, though without any referenced sources.
