Video Games-[Gaming University]

Do you think gaming has no future, well maybe if you join this university you will be able to become a pro. If you stream or casually play I think this will be interesting to learn that there is actually a university that teaches professional gaming.

Maybe there is a future, just take a look this could be you as 50 U.S. colleges and universities across the US are now offering more than $9 million in scholarships annually. You are thinking sign me up, right?

But, seriously is there really a future in this kinda like game design is the market so saturated and competition so wide spread where there can be narrow success? I hope there is if not its like throwing your money away like most college degrees, just a meaningless piece of paper but at least you had fun pwning newbs in the process doing what you loved!

But I could be completely wrong just listen to Kurt Melcher, executive director of esports, “I think corporations are just now starting to identify esports as an important industry for them,” He stated at Robert Morris University. "Seventy percent of collegiate esports student athletes identify as STEM; that’s a valuable demographic that I feel like marketers have a hard time reaching. So I think esports are a perfect vehicle — especially on the collegiate side — to deliver that student or that demographic. There’s a whole industry that’s just booming and growing at an exponential rate.”
