Fake Moon Rock, Lost Apollo tapes, Don Pettit.
When the apollo astronots came back from their mission, they gave almost every government in the world a moon rock as a souvenir and for world peace, etc.
The curator of the dutch museum decided to have theirs tested, and it turns out it was actually petrified wood:
Now of course the apologists claim the original was stolen, which is why it wasn't a moon rock. Always too convenient - any actual evidence for a break-in or that it was stolen and switched? No, of course not. But the logical conclusion, that the rock was never from the moon in the first place, can't possibly be accepted, can it?
I don't understand why people find it so hard to accept their government completely lies to their faces all the time, and is not out for their best interests, ever.
The second half of this reason is about the lost tapes. Many people might not know this, but when nasa broadcast the landings in 1969, no TV company was given the direct live feed. What they had to do was film the screen in houston, and broadcast that.
In other words, if you're of a certain age, you may remember putting an old tape recorder next to a radio to record the top 40 - the quality is not the best you can get, let's just say. But this is what nasa made the broadcast companies do in 1969, which is why the pictures are such poor quality.
Now after years of FOI requests to nasa, they finally admitted in the mid-noughties that they had erased all the original recordings, so no one can ever go and digitally re-master them and we could see the obvious fakery going on. How convenient.

Finally, here is nasa's don pettit, admitting they no longer have the technology to go to the moon, and it would be a painful process to build it back up again - as if they a) couldn't start from scratch and b) couldn't use much better technology than multi-coloured 70's sfx and a 'speak n spell' this time.
Maybe that's what the 2025 mission is all about... the best cgi all those billions can buy, and ten hectares of well-detailed and finely-crafted moon stage. Well it's not like they haven't had the time is it?

all it takes is for someone to actually doubt them, and the mask falls.
but it is often incredibly hard to get people to re-focus their thinking afresh, and see and hear what is actually being said, to see if it makes logical sense and if there is any evidence to back it up.
when don pettit says it would be a painful process to re-build the technology to go to the moon, what is he actually saying?
