After seeing the whole world turn towards social media with a vengeance, the effects that can have are just coming out. One of the things pointed out has been the fact that social media could be a source which could build up a feeling of loneliness in the user, which could lead to depression.
But a study conducted by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, seems to find
a direct causal link between cutting back on social media use and improvements in loneliness and depression.
