Steem Engine - a Diverse Community
Running some analytics on the web traffic I was enthralled to see such diversity! Here's a world map of where the traffic is coming from:
It looks like SteemEngine has a very strong representation in the Americas, Germany, India and Southeast Asia.. But it doesn't stop there. The community is spread across the globe. It seems as if only a few countries haven't had a chance to hop aboard the SteemEngine.
I am very excited to see where it ends up in a few months from now.
If you haven't joined yet, instructions are below!
Joining is as easy as 1-2-3
1. Sign up to SteemEngine at https://www.steemengine.net/join
2. Link your Steem account through the website.
This is required so you can vote and follow other users. Use your private posting key, we don't need or want your Active Key! Your private posting key can be found on Steemit:
Steemit -> Wallet -> Permissions -> Show Private key (Posting)
3. Click on Vote or Follow - and begin earning points!
The more users you follow the more followers you will get in return.
The more high quality articles you vote for the more SBD you will earn through votes.
Make sure to report posts that are spam.

Can someone tell me why my account keeps automatically upvoting SteemEngine-related posts?
you have autocuration enabled. It happens at most once a day to promote content and earn members curation rewards based on their VP. You can disable it.
Go to Link and press disable. See screenshot.
If you would like - we can reverse your vote.
Keep in mind autocuration allows you to accumulate rewards.

Yes it's automatically enabled, you have to opt-out. This is to get more participation because it becomes the status quo. We also think it brings a lot of value to our members :)
Did you know that countries that have an opt-out Organ donation policy have on average 90% participation? Compare this to countries where you need to opt-in.. they only get 15% participation!
