According to Poloniex users, crypto-exchange does not credit balances to user accounts when market orders are canceled. One user wrote in an unofficial exchange channel on Reddit:

When I cancel any open orders, the original value of USDT is not returned. Usually the target purchase price is back to my amount, and everything is in order, but today I noticed that every time I cancel an order, the balance becomes smaller and smaller and does not return to the proper amount .

Since then, several users of reddit have issued similar statements indicating that their balance on the account does not correspond to the real value that should be, Poloniex replied in her official Twitter channel:

"We are investigating reports on canceled orders that do not return funds to user "accounts.

Not all

Other users also complain to Reddit that the balance on their accounts reflects inaccurate or even negative amounts:

"My margin account played me a few minutes ago. Despite the fact that my positions in the profit I see warnings "Forced closure" and a margin of ~ 16%. Fortunately, none of my positions were actually closed, but now I can not manage almost any of them due to the fact that the exchange considers the margin to be so low. I used to have similar problems with the margin system, and they were usually corrected, but this is extremely inconvenient. I hope they just have a problem with the system, and everything will be restored."

Poloniex also answered this question, pointing out that they are working to restore the correct balance of accounts and suspend all mandatory closing orders:

"Some accounts are disabled and their balance will be adjusted. Forceful closing of orders will be temporarily disabled."

Customer service

While almost all crypto-exchange markets face serious problems, users have been complaining about the problems of customer service for almost a year. Many of them complained about the extremely long response time to complaints, with one user claiming that he waited more than 158 days to respond to his claim.

Another user writes:

"Waited for confirmation of withdrawal within 3 months! This is madness!! Should I hire a lawyer? Can not access my own money!"
