Where is your moral outrage now?
Hamas has now released their confirmation of what Israel has been saying all along. That about 50 of the 62 people killed in Gaza on Sunday/Monday were Hamas operatives. Israel has released many of their names and specific affiliations. As for the other 12, it is very likely that some of them are from Islamic Jihad or some other terrorist group.
If it is true that a baby or a child is one of those 12, then that was a tragic accident, but it would have been initially caused by the war crime of bringing a child to a battle zone (aka a human shield.) This sentiment of it being a tragedy, and the efforts with which Israel is trying to protect actual innocents, is easily confirmed by the numbers of injuries vs. dead, as well as the specificity and number of Hamas agents killed, in a riot/"protest" of 40,000 people. They put on a heck of a show though, and the media just licked it up.
But since you believe Israel has no right to protect themselves from a "peaceful protest," do they have a right to protect themselves from 50 Hamas agents when they actually breach the border fence with weapons while screaming stuff like this?
What about after teaching their civilians to do this?
Or where was your outrage the last two weeks while Hamas repeatedly burned down a humanitarian crossing, preventing Israel from its DAILY deliveries that provide diesel fuel to run Gaza's HOSPITALS, and also preventing the GIVING of MILLIONS of lbs. of AID to the Gazans? Since we're on this point, how much humanitarian aid comes into Gaza from their border with Egypt? (That is only open like once a month because Gaza attacks Egypt too.)
Israel tries to feed the Gazan people who are victims of the same enemy that has declared war on Israel, Hamas. Hamas who has no concern for life, not for Israelis, and not for Gazans. So until Hamas is gone (it may here be interesting to note that the word Hamas means "violence,") I can practically guarantee that almost every Israeli agrees with their old Prime Minister Golda Meir, when she said:
"Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us."
"When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons."
Excellent article. I will re-steem it, as I was going to write a similar article myself.
I'm a bit surprised that Hamas admitted this.
Thanks for the resteem, and please write something! Today, they are even claiming it was 53 of the 62. I haven't heard Israel's statement on that new number yet.
....
A few hours later.
Actually I've now heard that the 3 others are from Islamic Jihad.
Mass suicide by Tzahal!
Better they revolt against Hamas.
