Yesterday, Tomb of Tongi started on the Tigra Ijtema

Jor Ijtema is being started from tomorrow on Friday, 5 days from tomorrow on the banks of the river Turag.

The devotees started coming to participate in the Jod Ijtema in Fajr due tomorrow to mark the preparation of World Ijtema.

Meanwhile, due to the downpours due to the continuous rain fall, devotees from the place of Ijtema have been suffering from this morning.
World Ijtema's Gurujee Engineer Ghiasuddin said, Ijtema has been organizing the 5-day-round Ijtema every year to make Ijtema beautiful and successful. Like every other time, this pair will start from Fajar on Friday, the pair Ijtema will start.

Now, it is expected that 2.55 lakh devotees from all 64 districts of the country will take part in the Jod Ijtema. Many devotees from nearby and far reached the Ijtema ground before taking part in Ijtema.

Today on Thursday morning, preparatory meeting was held in the Bhawal conference room in the presence of Gazipur deputy commissioner Dr. Deewan Md. Humayun Kabir.

In the meeting, discussions on different steps are being taken to make the World Ijtema of the two episodes held in Tongi World Ijtema ground from January 12 to January 19 and 21 January 2018.

Senior officials of the district administration, law enforcing agencies, including the authorities of the organizing committee were present in the meeting.
