World XI (CM)
A solid contender for this position, although a well disputed one, the place of CM in the World XI goes to James Rodriguez. The Colombian international is currently on loan from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich.
He has been a key player in Bayern and Madrids midfield however failed to impress under Zidane. His incredible through balls, touch, pace and shooting makes him a key asset to have on the World XI.
Honourable mentions:
- N'golo Kante plays for Chelsea and is extremely important to the Blues midfield however lacks pace and height to assist with headering.
- Spanish superstar Marco Asensio would have made it into the World XI but still has more to show for his age.
