A police dies after being hit by motorcycle

A police constable who was ploughed by a motorcyclist on Saturday night. He died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital yesterday evening. The deceased Abu Bakkar Siddik was a police constable of Preamtoli police Investigation Centre under Godagari police station, said a police man of Rajshahi district.

Siddik, hailing from Naogaon's Manda upazila, breathed his last at 6:20 while undergoing treatment At the hospital with several critical injuries on his head, Forehead and legs.

In Bangladesh road accident is a common matter. I only highlight a single accident. Everyday road accident takes place in Bangladesh.A report says that every year about 20 thousand people died of road accidents. But our government does not do anything to decrease the problem. One of the most common problems of road accidents is that many divers do not have driving licence. Our road are not more wider than other countries. We have no proper traffic signals. Overtaking tendency is a common in our road which is caused several accidents.

To prevent or decrease the road accidents the government must take action against the people who violate the law of traffic rules. Every driver must have driving licence. Drivers are taught about the traffic rules.
