Oregon Ducks recruiting: Bol Bol eclipses Malik Hairston as highest-rated pledge in program history
The Oregon Ducks advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 1939, but the program has had its share of superstars along the way.

Last week, Oregon signed five-star small forward Louis King, four-star power forward Miles Norris and four-star combo guard Will Richardson, all of whom are among the top 12 highest-rated pledges in school history.

But on Monday, Dana Altman landed the class headliner, as five-star center Bol Bol announced his commitment to Oregon.

Here's a look at the top 10 basketball prospects in Oregon history, which is now topped by Bol:

Honorable mention

2014 4* SF Dillon Brooks (Findlay Prep; Las Vegas, NV)
Canadian import Dillon Brooks was originally expected to be a part of the 2015 recruiting class, but reclassified to the 2014 group.

That move made Brooks a consensus "not rated" four-star prospect, as he hadn't been compared to any of the players in 2014 class until late in the process.

Still, the 6-foot-7 wing was viewed as a top-100 prospect nationally and likely would've found himself inside the top 10 Oregon prospects had he elected to graduate on time instead of early.

Dillon Brooks has been nothing short of a program-altering talent at Oregon, leading the Ducks to their first Final Four in more than 70 years, earning All-American honors in the process.

Brooks, the Pac-12 Player of the Year, averaged 16.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. More important, he became the fearless leader of a team that contended for a national championship.

2015 4* JC PF Chris Boucher (Northwest College; Powell, WY)
NJCAA player of the year Chris Boucher averaged 22.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per game for Northwest College against junior college talent.

The 6-foot-10, 200-pound 247Sports four-star prospect was not compared to prep recruits, like the top 10 prospects on this list, but was considered a major recruiting coup for the Ducks.

Chris Boucher blossomed into a unique talent as a senior in Eugene, averaging 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game, pairing with Jordan Bell to rank second in the nation in blocked shots.

Despite a season-ending injury in the Pac-12 tournament, Boucher was a major part of Oregon's regular season success.

Prior to his injury, Boucher was viewed as an NBA prospect, thanks to his unique blend of shot blocking and three-point shooting.

2016 4* JC C Kavell Bigby-Williams (Gillette College; Gillette, WY)
One year after landing Chris Boucher, Oregon again struck gold in the Wyoming junior college ranks, landing 247Sports four-star big man Kavell Bigby-Williams, who averaged 16.8 points, 13.6 rebounds and 5.8 blocks per game.

Kavell Bigby-Williams has struggled to adjust to Pac-12 play in his first year with the Ducks, averaging a modest 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Thrust into a key role in the NCAA tournament due to the injury to Boucher, the 6-foot-11, 220-pound post has shown infrequent flashes of putting it together, averaging 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds.

2017 4* SG V.J. Bailey (McNeil High School; Austin, TX)
Five-star point forward Troy Brown Jr. may be stealing the headlines for the 2017 recruiting class, but consensus four-star shooting guard just missed making Oregon's top 10 signees since 2002.

Rated the nation's No. 86 prospect nationally by ESPN, Bailey chose Oregon over offers from Arkansas, Creighton, Indiana, Kansas State, Marquette, Missouri, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Wake Forest and several others.

2004 4* SG Chamberlain Oguchi (George W. Bush High School; Houston, Texas)
The class of 2004 was Oregon's best collection of talent ever in a single year, as four signees in that nucleus make this list in some capacity.

Rivals four-star shooting guard Chamberlain Oguchi, rated the nation's No. 74 prospect, chose the Ducks over offers from Kansas State, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
