Now it offers to see Waimangu Volcanic Rift Valley, Frying Pan Lake which is the largest hot spring in the world.

- Craters of The Moon
The Craters of The moon is a geothermal walk located in the north of Taupo. It showcase the natural thermal activity of Taupo including bubbling craters, steam vents and colorful soils.

The largest geyser(Pohutu Geyser) of the New Zealand is in Whakarewarewa. This place is also known as the Living Thermal Village.
