Okay. Let's start with the publications. steemit is a platform similar to facebook, only that it offers rewards. Everything you post can receive votes, including comments. These votes turn into past winnings feel days. So the first thing you need to know is how to publicize. What do you think about publicizing something? Try to write about a topic that you like and publish it, do you think?
Ok that is a lot simpler that what i have been reading. Currently i have just been looking through projects and steem being one of them.
I do like cryptocurrencies and what they have to offer. Since there are a lot of them and new one coming out every day. A lot of people making noise about coins that have no value.
Perhaps there are lack of clarifications on some projects and people fail to see beyond the hype.
And i can relate as i lost 90% of what i had in bitconnect. Unforgiving place if there is a wild west economy going on.
If you do things right here in steemit, you can recover. You must be clear about how it works. Once you publish something, that publication collects rewards, which are paid seven days after publication.
About the votes: I see that you know how to vote. You just did it in my comment, in the same way you can vote in the publications. as you see after voting the comment step to be worth 0.01 $, that's what a vote of yours in steemit is worth. The vote value depends on the steem power, you bought 42 steem and converted them into steem power, if someone has 4000 SP your vote is worth $ 1 but it is not 1USD, but $ 1 that is shared as a cryptocurrency in SBD and SP. Also you can not vote whenever you want, there is something called voting power that decreases each time you vote and recharges with time, is measured in%, one vote decreases it by 2% and that 2% takes two hours to recover, If you lose 80% your vote will no longer be valid until it recharges, I recommend you to stay at 90% giving 5 votes a day. You can check your voting power and the activities you do in steemit using the steemd.com/@usuario tool where the user is the person to whom the data you wish to consult correspond. for example you can see your voting power in steemd.com/@jbz
About the rewards: There are two types of rewards, those of author that are the ones that you receive seven days after a publication of yours where steemit pays you what your publication has accumulated and the ones of healing that are the ones you receive for the votes that you give. . If a post accumulates $ 10, a 25% cure is paid, that is, it is distributed among the people who voted in that post. Then 75% is paid to the author in two forms 50/50, 50% In SBD that would be 3,525SBD (1SBD = 4USD currently) and the other 50% is paid in steem power, the amount depends on the price of the steem in dollars .
