New to the Steemit Community

I just stumbled on this site and I really like to read everything and know what is going on. This kind of reminds me of Reddit mixed with Facebook and more... I hope I am posting this in the right way. I am not advertising anything I just want to see how this whole thing works. Thank you everyone that read this.
