* The Dangers of Love of the World and Its Slander *

Rasulullah SAW said:

• حب ٱلدنيا رأس كل خطيئة *

  _ "The love of the world is the source of all mistakes." _

  If love for the world is the source of all mistakes, the source of all disasters, the base of all destruction, and the source of various slander and catastrophe, that is, it is a danger that has plagued this age, so great a danger and consequently even spread in various good circles top and bottom.

  Humans also show off each other without shame as if he has no defects or deficiencies in it, because the world has mastered their hearts and cause a greedy nature to prosper the world and collect his possessions.

  So that they come and go with their traps to hunt for things that are haraam and unlawful, they assume as if Allah SWT obliges them to prosper the world as Allah Almighty obliges prayer and fasting.

  Therefore, the loss of the greatness of religion, sirnalah the light of faith, has spoken the spokes of the speakers, closed the way of truth and opened the way of evil, for Allah Almighty, this is a blind slander, deaf, darkness, which causes prayers granted, ignored by those who call on the path of goodness, it is true what the Prophet said, he said:

• لكل أمة فتنة وفتنة أمتي ٱلمال, ولكل أمة عجل وعجل أمتي ٱلدينار وٱلدرهم *

  _ "Every people has their own slander, and slander for my people is a treasure, and every people has calves and cattle my people are dinars and dirhams." _

  It means that every people has something that can keep them from worshiping Allah SWT, just as the Children of Israel are busy worshiping a golden calf (as mentioned in the Qur'an) rather than worship Allah SWT.
