The Christmas Quilt
Here is the newest quilting project my wife is working on. She sure does put a lot of time and love into her labors of love. And then of course there is her quilting.
This is going to turn out to be one of my favorites. It’s simple design yet it falls teoghter so well.

They are so simple and yet fill in perfect to make a complete design. I don’t know how she does it.

Your wife does a great job quilting; I'm going to guess and say it's a great stress reliever for her, because I'm sure your her real full time job :)
I have this great memory of coming home after school, for months, to my mom and grandma working on a quilt spread out over the dining room table. Hadn't thought about that for years, thank you! We women know how to bond and create simultaneously; multitasking at work :) Please tell your wife great work! What does she do with the quilts? Keep them? gifts?
She gives them away. Gifts , needy
I kept a couple. Two of them. One I take to chemo the other I use on my recliner.
She is almost out of material. Have to figure out how to get her some more material .
Yes it is a good stress relief. And helps keep focus
When someone goes through something like this they have to have some kind of stress relief. Otherwise it will eat you up.
Being in a position where you want to help but there is nothing you can do is a horrible position to be in
Your wife sounds like a great person! You should get her the scraps on the end of rolls at a fabric store; they must have that?
Don't I know it buddy. I've learned to accept it; it's much easier.

Really cool design and where she gets the ideas about the design? I have seen many beautiful quilts made by her and wondering how long it takes to finished the needlework while she's also busy to take care of you.
The eagle still my favourit though 😉 thanks for sharing and I hope she'll get the new material for the quilts too.
This quilt still has to get a boarder and the quilting needs to be done. I am sure there is more but thats all I know.
I am low maintenance. LOL our two boys are still here so she gets help here and there.
She just comes up with all these ideas. I like to think that I inspire them but we all know thats not true.
I will have to put buying steem on hold and get her some material. She does enjoy quilting.
I like that a lot. The center has a nice pattern and then the squares on the outside I am sure have some meanings to you.
She does the designing very well. It always flows teoghter in a uniformed manner
