I come to you with an idea which is striking my mind from several days.

A biggest threat for every user on Internet is the personal data theft.

Hackers are not a major count in comparison with private companies in data theft threat. After revelation of Facebook's dark side ever single user feel insecure and confuse to whom to trust. 

Someone install an app and this damn app override every permissions secretly by it own without knowing to users. For an example the Facebook collect all the data about their users, without knowing it to users. 

People keep there all data including the personal data, official data and banking details in there cellphone and laptop in this fast pace age. 

These companies want to control everything, they want control over users devices, their ideas, their design, their choices. The users trust on these private companies and apps and install them and what these companies do, they start to manipulate the users according to their own benefits. 

The biggest threat is that the all users kept there banking data and other passwords on their devices without knowing the fact that their data are not fully secured from this centralized web system. We’ve grown so tired of filling in forms that we’re ignore the fact that we’re handing personal data over to these apps and sites, along with Facebook and Google.

The The original purpose of the web and internet was to build a common neutral network in which every person can participate in equally for the betterment of life.

But some greedy people realized that there is an easy way to create value on top of this neutral fabric was to build centralised services which gather, trap and monetise all  the information which can be beneficial.

Many Search Engines, Social Networks  like Facebook, Chat Apps like WhatsApp have grown huge by providing centralised services on the internet. For example, Facebook’s future vision of the internet is to provide access only to the subset of centralised services only.

Fortunately, we have a key to bring the web back to its original vision. That key is the "DECENTRALISED WEB" in which all the services available on the internet will not depending on any single Central organisation to properly function.

In a Decentralised Web system the services such as.  search, publishing, communication, currency, social networking etc are provided by technologies which are powered by the people, their own community, Their users.

Recent consequences of poorly managed centralism include massive data breachs and financial crisis are the reminder to us to need for decentralized system.

So i come to you with this idea of Creating a "Decentralized Operating System".

I am not a developer, I don't have funds to do that all I have just an "IDEA" of making an D.O.S.

Mr.Ned you have the funds, the developer team and supporters to make this idea practical.

This will be a big and historical step in this century making by steemit  ecosystem.

With this world changing innovation steemit can become a Tech Giant of the world and make a history, and surpass the Bitcoin, because by creating the D.O.S.  (Decentralized Operating System )STEEM can Capture the whole market of Operating system because everyone needs an system that can keep their precious data safe and secure and noone can do it better that decentralized Operating system!
