Instead of applauding AfriForum for prosecuting corruption, the racists call them racist
Advocate Gerrie Nel of AfriForum will privately prosecute Julius Malema on charges of corruption and tender fraud, if the NPA chooses not to prosecute him https://www.afriforum.co.za/gerrie-nel-afriforum-plan-privately-prosecute-malema-corruption/. Instead of cheering AfriForum on as South Africans who are against corruption, many political and media commentators are calling AfriForum a racist organisation only out to serve the interests of white Afrikaners, and so hence this can only be a crazy publicity stunt or a political play (https://www.enca.com/south-africa/watch-afriforum-playing-politics). Of course Malema chants slogans like "kill the boer" and calls for "the throat of whiteness to be slit", but he's not a racist.
Former SRC president at Wits university concludes that because most AfriForum members are white, this case is to protect "white privilege." https://www.news24.com/Columnists/GuestColumn/afriforums-juju-prosecution-another-attempt-to-protect-white-privilege-20180420
Unlike the Marxist African nationalists would want you to believe, there's nothing racial about this. AfriForum simply wants to protect all South Africans by bringing criminals to book, because corruption affects the poor the worst. The government sure doesn't do it, and nor do opposition parties. Rather than investigate charges of corruption and tender fraud by Malema, the ANC and EFF are now in active talks on whether Julius Malema should rejoin the ANC and get senior positions in government https://www.timeslive.co.za/politics/2018-04-14-anc-eff-talk-is-a-bromance-on-the-cards-for-ramaphosa-and-malema/.
Of course it makes complete sense for the EFF to rejoin the ANC and help it execute on the second phase of the National Democratic Revolution (NDR), which is a strategy to create a socialist South Africa.
