Sources have revealed that Warriors forward Kevin Durant will not execute next season's player options ($31.5 million) and will become a full free agent.

Durant's agent Rich Kleiman recently informed Warriors General Manager Bob Myers of the news.

Durant and his broker Rich Kleiman are currently in New York to evaluate free market options. So far, this process has remained private.

Durant is considering a variety of options, including returning to the Warriors. Sources said they believed the Knicks, the Nets and the Clippers were also under Durant's consideration.

If he chooses to renew his contract with the Warriors, Durant can sign a five-year top-salary contract of $221 million. If he chooses to sign with other teams, Durant can sign a four-year top-salary contract of $164 million.

Durant suffered a rupture of his Achilles tendon during this year's finals and is still recovering. In the regular season of 2018-19, Durant played 78 games, averaging 34.6 minutes per game, with 26 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists. A total of 12 games were played in the playoffs, averaging 36.8 minutes, with 32.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
