RE: THE NATURE PHOTO CONTEST launches today with the theme MOUNTAINS!
With Global warming it is harder than before, aech winter to find some big ice fall which last a long time. It is a beautiful creation of nature when the weather is becoming freezing. In this secret valley, close to Grenoble in France, a beautiful water fall has been frozen. Some people are climbing ice fall in an artistic and dangerous way. It’s an hobby, a sport but also a way to remember that every year, ice is melting because of global warming.
Thank you for your submission! My suggestion would be to enter this photo on Wednesday for the Water Wednesday theme.. I think it would fit better there, no? If you decide to do that, you can submit another photo for today's Mountains contest and we'll put this one in parenthesis for now. It's completely up to you though!

Many photos will definitely fall into several categories, but I think this would fit very well in the Water-themed contest!
