Spring Time at the Farm

Spring on the prairies is often quite dry, we get very little rain compared to other parts of Canada and once all the snow melts the forest fires start up. It's a strange cycle for sure, but many plants somehow thrive in this environment.

These wild strawberries have popped up everywhere and soon we will be able to pick the tiny sweet and amazingly delicious berries.

Other plants and trees do quite well, like these;

Since we haven't gotten any rain our gardens haven't even started sprouting yet, so we helped set up the sprinkler this weekend to ensure they get the water they need so badly.

Hopefully we get some rain soon! The crispy ground could really use it!

Take care Steemians!
