Today in class we viewed our works done on Fungi.
It seems at the mention of fungi the only first thing that pops up is Mushroom....
Lets learn something here
- Mushrooms are eukaryotic, achlorophyllic, most being microscopic organisms.
Today's work done last Friday and was kept for viewing.
THIS VERY EXPERIMENT , SAMPLES WERE TAKEN FROM THE AIR IN THE LAB... WOW👹👹👹👹👹.
Nutrient agar was passed through the atmosphere.....
So I asked myself if All these microbes are around us?
Now we have to identify the types of fungi that can be identified there
Interesting post. My bio class this semester is working on filtering bacteriophages from the soil in a similar procedure. It is crazy to think that we interact with these microscopic organisms (phages aren't technically living organisms but you get the concept) every day and have no idea they're even there.
Cool! I follow you.
