A buddy of mine is an avid mountain biker. He rides once a week to twice when he is not working. He loves the thrill of the sport. He loves being out in nature and away from society. He is a computer programmer so he spends most of his time indoors and appreciates the occasional breaks to explore the outside world. He took this photograph with a Phantom Drone. It is a marvelous shot.

A misconception about the mountain biking community is that the community is just a bunch of rednecks who have no regard for life and nature. This is quite the opposite. Many mountain bikers are preservationists and take maintaining trails a serious endeavor. For example, I went riding recently and I spotted several bikers cleaning up trash hikers had left behind.
