Hawaii helicopter pictures - Kauai - Napali Coast - Kalalau Beach - everything so peaceful from above
Take your mind off the destructive lava scenes, as interesting as they can be, they are devastating. Take a look at my friend's photos taken from an air tour that were just shown to me late last night. The water is so blue that is almost looks fake.
Truly breathtaking.
How cool would it be to be at the bottom of this waterfall looking up?
A nice beach to be stranded on for a day or so, don't you think?
This last image is just showing the power and beauty of nature to me. In one area in this archipelago , it looks like this. In other areas, volcanic activity is taking back what was built over top of this at some point. There is a Pink Floyd song that comes to mind when I see this called "Take It Back" from their "Division Bell" album. I won't get into a whole Pink Floyd discussion right now, as I am a huge fan, but the key line that comes to mind is "She will take it back some day...." - meaning Mother Nature is all powerful and can take back all of the buildings and things we've done to destroy parts of the planet and restore them eventually to something like these views. We are only temporary residents here. Enjoy the amenities and take care of things for the next generation.
The pyroclastic flows from this vantage point would be epic!
I imagine they would but I don't think the tour company would either be allowed to fly near there or would necessarily want to show destruction or devastation that could potentially spook a tourist away from wanting to stay nearby there.
Such a beautiful island. Would love to swim there....
I can only imagine swimming there would be warm, yet cool enough to be refreshing among schools of fish that you could see with your naked eye. You could see the bottom easily and even see the rocks or shells or whatever is on the bottom that you might be treading on. I would love it too.
Kauai is such a beautiful island, so untouched. Thank you for sharing.
Nice photo. I like Hawaii, but I went to Oahu only.
That looks beautiful... I've never been In helicopter, it would be a wonderful way to go exploring from a birds eye view.
