Gardians of the pecan trees

My view from the pecan tree orchards.

In the early morning just as the thermals are starting to build a lot of cape vultures can be seen starting their rides on the rising air.

Huge birds which work the thermals in such a way that they barely ever have to flap their wings.

Just riding the winds.

Absolutely majestic in appearance.

Banking to gain height in the thermal.

Leaving on a cross-wind.
