Sales of Seabin start this summer! They are floating debris interception devices designed for marinas and other small water bodys.
Each Seabin is estimated to catch around half a ton of debris each year!
But is this energy consuming litter catcher the solution to the marine little problem?
Of course not!
This well marketed product is a great way to stimulate innovation and inspire people but at the day, a revolution in the way that we use and manage our waste, in partially plastics.
We collectively need to end our plastic dependency and find a way to recover from the damage which the 8.3 billion tons of plastic that has been produced to date has caused.
Zero waste is the future!
