Great Shiplock Park is a great place to go right near Downtown Richmond, VA. There is a long bike & walking trail and also the river is right there. Many people fish from this area. It’s a lovely spot to go.
Bikers and walkers enjoy the scenery including lovely landscapes with gorgeous flowers everywhere! Lots of room for everyone to walk and to bike.
Gorgeous flowers everywhere here! What a lovely place to go eat your lunch outside in nature. There are many benches to choose from to take your lunch and eat outside.

This is the canal, many fishermen come here to catch some fish! It’s a beautiful spot to relax as well.
