Why Be Perfect When You Can Be Unique
Just look at the amount of suave that this Heron oozes out as he goes about his day of fishing, plus he seems to have his own hairstyle going on there, just look at those fringe feathers aren't they gorgeous? And when this heron has completed his work for the day - (while looking absolutely awesome doing it, I might add), he steps out of onto dry land, find a relaxing place where he can bask in the glory of his achievements and some sun-rays of-course.
THEN BAM; He opens it all up, and shows the world what a lot his got!
This is just their unique way of drying off and airing out their feathers.
So many people strive to be perfect, and what I mean by perfect is the stereotypical norm for perfect or perfect to the standards of another person / group. But the problem with that is that if society, a certain group or an individual wants you to change in order to fit into their world, then they can be considered imperfect for not being able to see all the beauty in your uniqueness.
No-one should ever feel, that the gratification of others is what makes them whole, because then they will live trying to fill a void inside themselves for as long as they live.
It is never too late to start loving and appreciating yourself the way you are meant to. Embrace the things that sets you apart, because these are the things that make you, UNIQUELY YOU!
I shot these Heron pics in the lower Sabie camp of the Kruger National Park
They say perfection is the enemy of achievement!
There we go, couldn't have said it better!
And we still have snow in Russia
Please take this off my post immediately
