Black walnut time plus much more to get done
The walnuts are everywhere!
This is just a few of the black walnuts in the yard. We have four trees of which I will collects nuts under three of. Leaving the one for the wild life to enjoy. Along with nut collecting Fall prep for winter time is here. The temps are dropping and reported to get our first frost is soon. Good to have help with Abbi during the day. I can get out there añd work in the yard. Nice weather for the work that needs to be done.

My grandpa used to always eat black walnut ice cream. It's still one of my favorite things in the world. What do you do with them?
There is a place the other side of town that buys them. Not sure what they pay, but its better than letting them grow in the yard and safer than walking on them.
