RE: What I'm Learning on My Journey to End Myopia.

Curious with the "success stories" out there - how long did it take? Did you make any progress on researching diet? My gut feeling is magnesium levels play a pivotal role, but haven't got round to delving very deeply in my reading yet.

Yes, I wondered about time scale. To start with I was thinking no more than one -0.25 change per 6 months, but it seems the higher your myopia, the quicker the early improvements are and the bigger you can make your step backs. Once you get to -2.00 it progress is slower. It took me 30 years to reach this point, so I expect it will take a few years to improve. Every step away from retinal detachment is good, though. From what I'm reading, even at lower myopia 0.25 steps every 6 months seems doable.

I haven't looked into diet just yet. I've been trying to figure out my astigma and my next steps. I should make that my next thing to research. Getting enough sleep has come up in my research, though.
