RE: Are tattoos toxic?

in #naturalmedicine5 years ago (edited)

Great tattoo aftercare makes a HUGE difference to the way the tattoo heals and the amount of ink pulled into the scabbing. Fun Fact: I produce several thousand pots of hand-made, organic beeswax Tattoo After Care Balm every month for one of the leading tattoo franchises. :)

Indigo, one of the most common and original tattoo inks has a sacred protective herbal function too - the samurai used to also dye their clothes with it, for added protection in battle.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

Thai peasants too. LOL. Still the most common colour cos that stuff grows EVERYwhere. But it did - and does - have some specific natural medicine and shamanic functions, both in tattooing and in traditional Asian medicines. Might get inspired and post about it later.... :)
