TESS sent the first image
The TESS orbital observatory launched in April began work.
The first photo of 200,000 stars is transmitted to Earth. In the middle is the constellation Centauri.
There's been an active discussion on NASA tweeters. People soon find many interesting things and astronomers are tyrannical with the question "And this is what?"
This is still a test image, but NASA plans to receive high-quality photos and publish them in June.
