MyPictureDay Submission - The Ice Guard
Well, since we still here very cold weather, then ICE SAGA continues. This time decided to go to Sventoji, a small city about 40km from Klaipeda as well at the coast of the Baltic Sea. And there are remains of pretty nice old wooden pier. And I know that after certain very cold days very possible to find some nice ice formations there. And I was right...
However came there a little bit earlier, but was a lot of luck to catch even the SUN HALO, not really often phenomena caused by very humid air
Very nice ice formations at the coastline, reflecting the colors of sunset, becoming more and more intense
Don't look into the abyss too long, otherwise it will eat your mind...

Iced remains of the pier looks stunning and touching the sun at dawn
And finally those cool ice formations like a mushrooms. Excellent line with a touch of long exposure making all the picture again a lot phantasmagorical. Like that is not on our planet...
Yet another time got completely frozen, but the result was really worth
